Efficient Filtration: The NanoMat Replacement Roll boasts a high-flow, 50 g/m2 filter made from non-woven, polyester fleece. This advanced filtration material effectively captures debris, detritus, and particulate matter from your water column, helping to maintain pristine water quality.
Longevity: While actual lifespan varies based on factors such as tank volume, bio-load, feeding regimen, and initial water quality, each 28-meter roll of filter fleece is projected to last between 5 to 8 weeks in a moderately stocked 80-gallon reef system. It's important to note that bare-bottom tanks may consume rolls at an accelerated rate due to increased water flow.
Adaptive Usage: The NanoMat Replacement Roll may experience higher usage rates during the initial weeks after installation. As your system adapts to the enhanced mechanical filtration provided by NanoMat, the consumption rate may be temporarily higher before stabilizing.
